Happy Grad day to Yilin

Reached office only at 2pm.. went for the graduation ceremony of my 2nd sis. Congrats again dear.

Its a boring process la.. but since she is family and first time to attend the grad ceremony.. ok lor.. we all went.. hahahahaaha

So many graduates ok.. SO SO SO SO SOOOO MANY.. No wonder.. its really not a big deal if u are a U grad, u throw a stone across the street, there's another one there..

I could not have done it. Surviving thru University. Too stupid and studying is really not my interest. Looking at how many students graduate in a local U, i imagine those that are taking private degrees or overseas degrees. MY GOD.. the singapore workforce can accomodate so many U-grads meh??

Still support the diploma colony.. Wahahahahaha.... Sorry la.. but i always find Singapore U-grads.. whether local or overseas really think too highly of themselves. My sis is ok la. Not because she is my sis and i protect her.. but its the truth.

Alot of pple think that academically u are good, means u are smart and is higher in position in the society. The only thing higher is the stack of papers that we have call "certificates"

Thats why soooooo many irritating new-age parents now.

Personally, i feel that if u BOUGHT ur way into a University.. meaning, as long as u pay ur fees and ur grades to get into that U is just mabbe all passes... then u are just buying a very expensive piece of paper.

The money & time u take to buy that paper call "degree".. if u come out to society to work and gain experience, i think the prospect in ur career is much much better.

Its who u know and not how much u noe.

Ya.. alot of pple say degree important la.. singapore no degree pple dun want la.. Bla bla bla.. im not being sour grapes.. its just my VERY PERSONAL point of view. U dun need to study so hard to be successful.

Anyway, very happy for my sis to have survive her uni life and now found a goood job. hehehehe..
